New Alloy Fuel Tank

To prevent a re-occurance of the fuel surge issue at Silverstone, a new Aluminium Tank was made by James Aitken of Alloy Racing Fabrications.
The result is a tank that will fit in the standard Fulvia Fuel bay and can be specified to capcities larger than the usual 38 litres for Rally or Endurance use. It feature a special Alloy sump at the bottom which is baffled. the Tank has three other baffles and is filled with Race Foam for safety.
The left side has a compartment to fit Level sender - either VDO or Lancia original unit.
The postioning helps keep C of G low in the car unlike rally tanks often fitted above the Boot floor.
